Get trained in Mental Health First Aid
Are you concerned about someone struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis or a substance use disorder? Do you wish you knew how to help them?
"Just as CPR training can help you save someone's life during a medical emergency, getting trained in Mental Health First Aid can help you save a life during a mental health crisis," says Becky Beck, R.N., Lake Regional education coordinator. "Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training course that teaches participants about mental health and substance use issues."
