Patients on Lake Regional’s Skilled Nursing Unit can receive limited visitation. However, non-vaccinated patients can no longer have visitors on the unit at this time due to the increase in COVID positivity rates. Please call 573.348.8275 to schedule outdoor visitation. In accordance with CMS regulations, first-time visitors will need to sign a release before visiting any patient. Additional requirements include:
- Screening. Visitors will be screened for temperature and symptoms.
- Masks. All patients and visitors are required to wear face coverings, regardless of their vaccination status.
- Social distancing. Patients and visitors must remain 6 ft. apart if they are not vaccinated. Contact can occur if both the patient and the visitor are both vaccinated.
Lake Regional's Skilled Nursing Facility has earned a five-star rating, the highest available, from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. We are committed to providing high-quality, personalized care in a comfortable, friendly environment.
We provide intermediate, transitional and subacute specialized nursing care. Your full team of health care providers includes registered dietitians and pharmacists, who will monitor your diet and medications. Our personalized therapy program is designed to help you achieve independence and quality of life through rehabilitation therapies, including physical, occupational and speech therapy, as needed.
Note: Patients must be qualified under Medicare and/or private insurance for a skilled service.
Our facility, located on the second floor of Lake Regional Hospital, features semi-private and private rooms and a dining room/lounge to visit with family and friends. An in-house beauty salon is available for your pampering.
Because you are considered a resident during your stay, we encourage you to wear your own clothing instead of a hospital gown. Meals are served in our dining room, and you may receive visitors at any time. We also welcome your participation in a variety of activities organized by our staff.
