Sudhir Batchu, M.D.
Sudhir Batchu, M.D., cares for patients at Lake Regional Neurology.
Dr. Batchu is a board-certified neurologist, specializing in the treatment, teaching and research aspects of general neurology and neuroimmunological disorders. Dr. Batchu diagnoses and treats nervous system disorders including diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. He treats patients who have experienced strokes or other complications of cerebrovascular diseases, as well as individuals with multiple sclerosis, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease.
Dr. Batchu received his medical degree from Guntur Medical College in India. After moving to Central Missouri in 1984, Dr. Batchu earned a masters degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in microbiology and worked in the university system as a research physician in the area of immunology. He furthered his studies with a neuroimmunology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He has conducted several Phase IV clinical research studies and in the last few years has served as a stroke service champion and stroke service medical director for SSM Health facilities in St. Louis and Jefferson City.
