Biography
Mona Afrassiab, D.O., cares for women at Lake Regional Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also delivers personalized birth experiences at Lake Regional Family Birth Center.
Dr. Afrassiab is an experienced physician who listens to her patients and values their input in birthing plans.
“I joined Lake Regional because I was looking for a hospital that values obstetrics and women’s health,” Dr. Afrassiab said. “This hospital and birth center have exceptional employees who are enthusiastic about women’s care. I am happy to be a part of that and a part of this wonderful community.”
Before joining Lake Regional in 2014, Dr. Afrassiab worked at Moberly Regional Medical Center for more than 10 years. She also served as an assistant clinical professor at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine for five years.
