Jeannie Carlton, APRN-BC
Jeannie Carlton, APRN-BC, cares for patients of all ages at Lake Regional Clinic - Laurie.
As a nurse practitioner, Carlton has advanced education and clinical training. She has more than 30 years of nursing experience and has served in various health care settings, including emergency departments, urgent care, occupational medicine and primary care. She also spent five years serving as a school nurse. She joined Lake Regional in 2017.
“Wanting to help people is what drew me to health care,” Carlton said. “My patients are important to me, and I strive to provide them with individualized care. I don’t ever want anyone to feel like they’ve been rushed through a visit. I want to give them the respect they deserve.”
Engaging patients in their care and getting to know them are important to Carlton.
“I like to talk with my patients about what needs to be done to improve their health and collaborate on solutions,” she said.
