Harjyot "Joe" Sohal, M.D.
Biography
Harjyot "Joe" Sohal, M.D., cares for patients at Lake Regional Pulmonology.
Dr. Sohal is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonology and critical care medicine. He cares for adult patients with lung diseases and respiratory conditions, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and more. His services include fiber optic bronchoscopy, interventional pulmonary medicine, lung cancer screening and pulmonary function tests.
Dr. Sohal joined Lake Regional full time in 2017. He has worked in mid-Missouri since 2006, including at the Harry S. Truman VA Hospital in Columbia and Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, as well as Lake Regional Health System's Intensive Care Unit. In addition, he is an associate professor of medicine in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Environmental Medicine at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, as well as the associate program director for the Department of Internal Medicine Residency Program.
