Hailey Dunn, FNP-C

Biography

Hailey Dunn, FNP-C, cares for patients at Lake Regional Neurology.

Dunn has worked at Lake Regional since 2009. She started as an Emergency Department patient care technician, and then became a registered nurse in 2013, working in the Stepdown Unit and the Emergency Department. Dunn studied at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri, and got her master’s degree at Cox College in Springfield, Missouri.

Dunn fell in love with healthcare work after getting brought into the emergency department as a technician. Then once the neurology position opened up, she was excited to apply because she liked working with stroke patients in the emergency department.

“As I was graduating, I was searching for jobs Lake Regional had opened and this was a perfect fit, because I already really liked strokes and had experience with that in the ER,” Dunn said. “It comes full circle. When we go into rooms, they’ll say ‘You look so familiar!’ if they have been in the ER before. I already know a lot of the patients, which is great.”
