Eric McQueary, D.O.
Eric McQueary, D.O., treats male and female patients at Lake Regional Urology. He provides medical and surgical care for the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive organs. Conditions he commonly treats include, but are not limited to, prostate, bladder and kidney cancer; incontinence; infections; and kidney stones. He also performs vasectomies.
Dr. McQueary provides minimally invasive surgeries for prostate cancer, kidney cancer and urinary tract conditions using the da Vinci X robotic surgery system.
“I am present with the patient in the operating room throughout the procedure, and I am always fully in charge of how the instruments move,” Dr. McQueary said. “I control the instruments as extensions of my hands.”
Dr. McQueary said he specialized in urology because of the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients while also performing surgeries.
“I also like the oncologic aspect of urology, helping patients through cancer,” he said. “It’s very rewarding being with people during their time of need.”
Before entering medical school, Dr. McQueary served six years in the Alaskan Air National Guard, with deployments to Qatar and Kosovo. He also has taken medical mission trips to the Philippines and Haiti. He joined Lake Regional in 2018.
