Lake Regional Welcomes OB-GYN Corey Babb

Lake Regional Health System announces Corey Babb, D.O., FACOOG, IF, NCMP, has joined Lake Regional Obstetrics and Gynecology in Osage Beach. Dr. Babb is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He also is a fellow of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health, as well as a North American Menopause Society Certified Menopause Practitioner.

“With his extensive training and experience, Dr. Babb will deliver exceptional, personalized care to our Lake Regional patients,” said Mary Lou Gamm, RNC-OB, director of Women’s and Children’s Services. “We are pleased to have him join our women’s health team.”

Dr. Babb cares for women in all stages of life. He listens carefully to his patients and asks questions to understand what each woman hopes to receive from his care.

“The women I care for are more than just a collection of lab values, symptoms, and numbers — they’re living, breathing individuals with hopes, fears and dreams,” he said. “I take time to get to know them as people and to really listen to their concerns and stories.”

Dr. Babb provides routine and advanced gynecological services, including laser surgery for endometriosis, laparoscopic hysterectomy and vaginal reconstructive surgery. He also provides expert pregnancy support and personalized birth experiences at Lake Regional Family Birth Center.

In addition, Dr. Babb has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of female sexual dysfunction, including low sex drive, arousal disorders, sexual pain disorders, orgasmic dysfunction and hormone replacement therapy. He also is trained in the use of intramuscular Botox for the treatment of vaginismus and pelvic floor spasms.

Dr. Babb earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa. He completed an internship in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Oklahoma – Tulsa and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa. He was chief resident his last year in the program.

Originally from Tulsa, Dr. Babb is married to his high school sweetheart, Emily, who is a small business owner. They have three children, ages 11, 8 and 4, and three dogs. In his free time, he likes to spend time with his family, cook, read and garden.
