Lake Regional Health System welcomes a new department manager, Dan Canales, BSRT. Canales oversees the Lake Regional Diagnostic Imaging department.
“We are pleased to welcome Dan to Lake Regional,” said Mike Dow, PharmD, director of Lake Regional Ancillary Services. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and is eager to lead our diagnostic department in enhancing our technology to advance our care.”
Canales earned a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology from Northeast Louisiana University, now named University of Louisiana at Monroe. He has more than 20 years of radiology experience and 15 years of experience in management.
“I’ve been impressed with the Lake Regional team and look forward to working with this team to build on the good things being done here,” he said.
Originally from Louisiana, Canales comes to Missouri from Wyoming, the home state of his wife, Melissa. They have three daughters. In his free time, Canales enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing and camping. He’s looking forward to boating on the Lake of the Ozarks.
