Lake Regional Health System is pleased to welcome Jaren Pippitt, MHA, FABC, as its new chief development and strategy officer. Beginning in January, Pippitt will lead Lake Regional’s medical group and oversee strategic growth opportunities.
“Jaren joins Lake Regional with more than 20 years of health care leadership experience,” said Lake Regional CEO Kevin McRoberts, FACHE. “Her experience with strategy development and service line leadership will help Lake Regional continue to recruit and retain the most talented physicians and to expand Lake Regional’s footprint to meet the needs of our growing market.”
Pippitt’s experience includes 13 years of leadership at Mosaic Life Care (formerly Heartland Health) in St. Joseph, Missouri. She joined the organization as a vice president and later served as an administrator/president before her promotion to chief strategy officer in 2018. Her accomplishments included leading the purchase of a 55-bed hospital in a neighboring community, managing the acquisition of 45% interest in an ambulatory surgery center, turning multiple service lines into profitable positions, and initiating the region’s only house-calls program to bring provider-level care into patients’ homes.
Pippitt previously gained 10 years of health care leadership experience at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She has a bachelor’s in administrative management from Missouri State University in Springfield and a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Originally from Iowa, Pippitt has been visiting the Lake of the Ozarks since childhood. Her extended family has owned a home in Sunrise Beach since 2012, which she and her husband, Greg, plan to make their full-time residence.
“We’ve always known we wanted to move to the lake full-time, but having the chance to do this before retirement is a thrill for us,” Pippitt said. “Finding the amazing culture at Lake Regional was a bonus. I’ve been struck by how much pride and positive energy everyone has. Everyone I’ve spent time with seems to truly enjoy serving the community and working with those around them.”
Together, Jaren and Greg have four children, ages 11 to 24. Besides enjoying lake life, they enjoy their children’s sporting events, mainly baseball, basketball and cross country. They also enjoy peaceful evening campfires, collecting bourbon and vacationing in Mexico.
