Lake Regional Health System welcomes Kunle Tosin, M.D., FACC. Dr. Tosin, a board-certified cardiologist, provides heart care to adult patients at Lake Regional Heart and Vascular, located on the second floor of Lake Regional Hospital near the Laboratory.

Dr. Tosin has always been passionate about heart care and being of service to other people.
“I went into health care because service is very important to me,” Dr. Tosin said. “I chose cardiology because I found it to be very dynamic. I am honored when my patients experience life-changing results from cardiac treatments or procedures.”
As a cardiologist, Dr. Tosin diagnoses and treats heart disorders and related conditions. His services include coronary angiography; coronary angioplasty and stent placement; complex, high-risk coronary intervention; coronary rotablation; coronary intravascular ultrasound; coronary flow evaluation; and peripheral vascular angiography and stent placement.
Dr. Tosin has more than 20 years of medical experience. Before joining Lake Regional, Dr. Tosin served as an interventional cardiologist at Kearney Regional Medical Center. He also served as an assistant clinical professor of medicine for the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Department of Cardiology.
Dr. Tosin recognizes that each patient has personal preferences and values that impact their care.
“I think it is very important to have meaningful discussions with my patients,” Dr. Tosin said. “I prioritize forming a partnership with my patients so that we can share the decision-making process and determine treatment plans together. I want my patients to feel invested in their decisions and health care.”
Dr. Tosin earned his medical degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He then completed a cardiology fellowship at Montreal Heart Institute in Montreal, Canada, followed by an interventional cardiology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. Dr. Tosin also completed a congenital general cardiology fellowship at Montreal Heart Institute in Montreal, Canada, as well as a structural interventional cardiology fellowship at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
