Lake Regional Provides Bivalent COVID Vaccine Boosters

Wednesday, September 28, 2022

Lake Regional Health System announces it now offers bivalent COVID vaccine boosters at each of its seven primary care clinics.

The CDC recommends people ages 12 years and older receive a bivalent booster. This includes people who have received all primary series doses and people who have previously received one or more monovalent boosters.

Both the Pfizer and Moderna bivalent boosters are available at each Lake Regional primary care clinic. The Pfizer booster is authorized for ages 12 and older, and the Moderna booster is authorized for ages 18 and older.

It is not necessary to be an established patient with Lake Regional to receive a vaccination appointment. The COVID-19 vaccine itself is provided at no charge. However, there is a vaccine administration charge that will be billed to your insurance, including Medicare, if you are insured.
