Lake Regional Health System is pleased to announce its Outpatient Services Department has reopened in its newly renovated space.
“We’ve improved patient comfort, privacy and safety, while making it easier for our care team to collaborate and deliver exceptional care,” said Lake Regional CEO Dane W. Henry.
Lake Regional Outpatient Services is a busy department, with more than 26,500 visits annually. The remodel replaced curtain barriers between patient bays with walls for more privacy, and a new floor plan makes it easier for the care team to work together while keeping a close watch on all patients.
“Providing exceptional patient care throughout this renovation required teamwork, not only among the Outpatient Services staff but also from staff throughout the hospital, as well as from our volunteers,” said Janny Drover, nurse manager of Outpatient Services. “I’m proud of how we all came together to keep the focus on the patient, and I’m excited to see how the new space helps us deliver even better patient experiences.”
