Lake Regional Health System announces Brandon Reeves, PA-C, has joined Lake Regional Orthopedics. As a physician assistant, Reeves will contribute to patient care both in the clinic and the operating room.
“I was a physical therapist for 18 years before becoming a physician assistant, so I have extensive experience in treating both spine and sports medicine conditions,” Reeves said. “I will draw on this experience to provide a well-rounded, holistic approach to those entrusted in my care.”
Reeves received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Missouri State University. He also holds a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in Kansas City.
Reeves encourages patients to be the primary decision makers in their plan of care.
“A good working relationship with patients comes from a willingness to listen to the patient’s goals,” Reeves said. “The patient is the director of their own health care, and my role is an advisor. I provide them with options and assist them in deciding what is best for their particular situation.”
Reeves lives on a farm in Richland with his wife, Candice, and their three children. In his free time, he enjoys working in his greenhouse and garden, as well as hunting and outdoor sports.
Reeves will work closely with Lake Regional orthopedic surgeons Scott Hofer, D.O.; Jeff Jones, D.O.; Ryan Morris, D.O.; and Eric Varboncouer, M.D., as well as Gina Fasano, PA-C, and Brian Swanson, PA-C.
