Join Lake Regional Oncologist Maggi Coplin, M.D., for a virtual health talk on how to catch breast cancer early, as well as how to prevent it altogether. The health talk will premiere on facebook.com/LakeRegional at 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28.
Dr. Coplin will cover prevention through diet and lifestyle choices, the importance of routine mammograms and the symptoms of breast cancer. She also will provide information on determining personal risk and will encourage women to use Lake Regional’s breast cancer risk assessment at lakeregional.com/cancer to identify their risk factors.
“This talk will empower women to take charge of their health,” Dr. Coplin said. “Instead of living in fear of breast cancer, women will know how to change their risk factors and how to catch breast cancer early.”
The health talk will continue to be available after the event in the video section of Lake Regional’s Facebook page. A recording also will be available at lakeregional.com/HealthTalk.
