Get ready to go nowhere! Lake Regional Hospital Auxiliary is asking the community NOT to join them for the annual Denim & Diamonds Event benefiting the Commitment to Caring initiative.
Commitment to Caring focuses on rallying community support for advanced health care services at Lake Regional Health System. The first project to be funded by the initiative will enhance services for heart and cancer care.
“Even though the community cannot attend the event, they can still make a financial contribution to this meaningful initiative,” said Terri Hall, Lake Regional Fund Development director. “You don’t need to buy a dress or shine up your shoes because you can support a good cause on Oct. 3 from the comfort of your own home. You can kick back on your couch, knowing that you made a difference in your community.”
Donations to the no-show event can be made online. Those who submit donations to this no-show event will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a diamond pendant sponsored by Duncan II Jewelry or a denim certificate sponsored by Blair's Landing.
The Auxiliary is also encouraging people to submit their most imaginative excuses for why they cannot attend – and the most creative excuse will win barbecue for four delivered by Wobbly Boots Road House. Submit your no-show excuse by Thursday, Oct. 1, to be entered into the contest.
Sponsorship packages ranging from $500 to $10,000 are available. For more information, contact Hall at 573.348.8153 or visit lakeregional.com/noshow2020. To learn more about the Lake Regional Hospital Auxiliary, visit lakeregional.com/volunteers.
