Save the date! The Lake Regional Hospital Auxiliary will host the Denim & Diamonds Ball on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Regalia Hotel in Lake Ozark. As always, the ball is open to the community.
“This celebration is for everyone, and this year’s ball will be the most welcoming yet,” said Auxiliary member Jayne Brown, who is an event co-chair, along with Auxiliary member Jeanne Harshman and Lake Regional Emergency Services director Amy Funderburk. “We have moved from a strictly formal affair to a denim-and-diamonds theme. We want to encourage everyone to come and have fun.”
The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing. One More Shot, a five-piece classic country band, will provide the entertainment, and dinner will be a barbecue buffet.
“If you are looking for a fun time with good people supporting a local cause, come to the Denim & Diamonds Ball,” Funderburk said. “You will feel a spirit of camaraderie throughout the evening as everyone comes together to celebrate Lake Regional and our generous supporters.”
Individual tickets are $75. All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Lake Regional Cancer Services. Throughout the years, the ball has raised more than $2 million for Lake Regional Health System, benefitting Cardiac Services, Emergency Department, Family Birth Center, Surgery and more.
Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks is a major sponsor. Sponsorship packages are available ranging from $500 to $10,000. All sponsors will receive preferred seating.
