Lake Regional Celebrates Doctors’ Day

Lake Regional Health System is celebrating Doctors’ Day on Tuesday, March 30. The team is proud to honor the contributions of its 85 physicians, who represent more than 25 specialties.

“Doctors have always exemplified heroism,” said Lake Regional CEO Dane W. Henry, FACHE. “And this pandemic has shown the truly extraordinary dedication our physicians, and all staff, have in keeping our community safe and providing exceptional care. I have so much pride in our physicians, who continuously make their days about serving others and improving lives.”

The health system is encouraging community members to take part in celebrating Doctors’ Day by sending cheer cards to their physicians. Through March 30, visit to send a card, which will be printed and delivered to physicians.

Lake Regional is also recognizing the following physicians for celebrating service milestones this year: 25 Years — Grant Barnum, D.O., FACOI. 20 Years — Patrick O’Neil, D.O. FAAFP; 10 Years — Cody Fox, DPM, FACFAS, and 5 Years — Justin Malone, M.D.; and Fassil Mesfin, M.D., PhD.

“Long-term doctor-patient relationships build bonds centered on mutual trust and respect,” Henry said. “We are honored to have so many of our physicians continue to serve Lake Regional and our patients year after year.”
