Lake Regional Hospital Auxiliary is continuing its tradition of supporting nursing education through Tree of Caring.

“Every year, Lake Regional Hospital Auxiliary awards Ethel Rayburn Nursing Scholarships to employees pursuing or furthering a nursing career,” said Karen Phillips, Lake Regional Volunteer & Auxiliary coordinator. “The Auxiliary has organized this festive fundraiser for 26 years, and it is the perfect way for the community to honor loved ones while supporting local nursing students.”

You can support this worthwhile project by ordering a $25 glass angel ornament. You may include the names of up to four people you wish to honor or remember; a card attached to the ornament will include these names.

The ornaments will decorate a Christmas tree in the hospital lobby. Unfortunately, there will not be an annual Tree of Caring Celebration this year. However, you will be able to pick up your ornaments by contacting Lake Regional Auxiliary.
