Lake Regional Auxiliary Supports Nurses Through Tree of Caring

Thursday, November 19, 2020

Lake Regional Hospital Auxiliary is continuing its tradition of supporting nursing education through Tree of Caring. This fundraiser provides the community with an opportunity to honor loved ones while supporting local nursing students.

Every year, Lake Regional Hospital Auxiliary awards Ethel Rayburn Nursing Scholarships to employees pursuing or furthering a nursing career. You can support this worthwhile project by ordering a $25 glass angel ornament. You may include the names of up to four people you wish to honor or remember; these names will be written on a card hanging from the ornament.

The ornaments will be displayed on a Christmas tree in the hospital lobby. Unfortunately, the annual Tree of Caring Celebration will not be held this year. However, ornaments can be picked up from the hospital by contacting Lake Regional Fund Development.

To order a Tree of Caring ornament, call Lake Regional Fund Development at 573.348.8153.
