Lake Regional Announces 5 Promotions

Lake Regional Health System is pleased to announce the promotion of five team members.

Terri Coffman, RMA, B.S., CBOM, SSWB, has been promoted to Patient Access manager. She leads the Patient Access team in providing excellent service to patients and to other hospital and clinic departments. At Lake Regional for 16 years, Coffman earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration of Medical Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. She is also a certified business office manager and Six Sigma White Belt. She brings a positive and open approach to leadership. She lives in Eldon.

Nancy Kuse, PMP, has been promoted to Applications manager. She manages the team that implements and supports the health system’s clinical, operational and financial application software. Kuse earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Computer Information Systems from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. She began at Lake Regional in 2002 as a project coordinator and has a wealth of experience and knowledge of Lake Regional’s systems, especially its electronic medical records. She lives in Greenview.

Abby Perry, MT(ASCP)CM, has been promoted to Laboratory manager. She oversees the lab’s daily operations including blood bank services, chemistry, coagulation, hematology, histology, microbiology, phlebotomy and serology. Perry graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and has 18 years of experience as a medical technologist. She joined Lake Regional in 2021. Her technical knowledge, positive communication skills and professionalism make her a strong Lake Regional leader. She lives in Brumley.

Kelli Thompson, CPC, CEMC, has been promoted to director of Coding. She oversees Lake Regional’s team of coders and the Revenue Integrity team. These teams work together to code services, optimize charge capture and ensure proper reimbursement for the organization. An excellent teacher, Thompson has worked at Lake Regional for 12 years and in health care for more than 25 years, in roles ranging from receptionist to manager. She lives in Camdenton.

Stacie Woodhouse, CPC, has been promoted to manager of Revenue Integrity. She oversees Lake Regional’s chargemaster database, and she has direct supervision of the Revenue Integrity team. Woodhouse has worked in revenue cycle for 23 years, with 15 of those years at Lake Regional. She is extremely knowledgeable on Medicare regulations and Lake Regional’s electronic health record applications. She lives in Tunas.
