The 43rd Annual HK’s Lake of the Ozarks Open, held May 19-20 at The Cove and Porto Cima, raised $171,032. All proceeds will help Lake Regional continue to purchase the latest technology for heart and cancer care.
“We thank the many sponsors, golfers and volunteers for their generous support,” said Kevin McRoberts, FACHE, chief executive officer of Lake Regional Health System. “Your pride in local health care continues to expand what’s possible for us and our patients. Thank you for being a part of making Lake Regional an extraordinary place to give and receive care.”
Harold Koplar, founder of The Lodge of Four Seasons, established the annual HK’s golf tournament in 1979. The event has raised more than $3.7 million since its start. This year’s net total is the second-highest in the tournament’s history.
“We have had an exciting year with HK’s,” said Peter Brown of Four Seasons Companies and chairperson of the HK’s committee. “We introduced a new event name and new opportunities for players and sponsors. There was more golf, more giveaways and more on-course events. We thank the Kansas City Chiefs Ambassadors for their continued support, with a special thanks to Dante Hall for serving as the event’s honorary chair.”
Brown also thanked this year’s title sponsors: BKD CPAs & Advisors; Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks; The Lodge of Four Seasons; and Troon.
