Friday, January 28, 2022

Alicia Clark, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, has joined Lake Regional’s team of cardiac service providers. Clark will assist cardiologists Zubair Khan, M.D., FACC, and Kunle Tosin, M.D., FACC, at Lake Regional Heart and Vascular in Osage Beach.

“Heart care is a point of pride at Lake Regional, and this is an exciting time as we expand our services,” said Lindsay Bentley, MSN, RNC-MNN, director of Lake Regional Clinical Operations. “Alicia has more than 20 years of experience in health care and has spent the last six years serving as an advanced practice nurse in cardiology in the Kansas City area. We are thrilled to have her join our heart team.”

Clark earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Missouri-Columbia Sinclair School of Nursing in 2015. Since then, she has focused on general cardiology, interventional cardiology, structural cardiology and an anticoagulation clinic.

Clark enjoys getting to know her patients as individuals.

“Empowering patients to meet their health and wellness goals is the most rewarding part of my work,” she said. “I also appreciate the relationships I have with my peers and colleagues.”

A native of the lake area, Clark lives in Warsaw with her husband, Brian. They enjoy traveling and outdoor activities, including camping and hiking.
