Lake Regional Health System has brought back online booking for Express Care. The health system is using a new vendor for the service to deliver a better patient experience.
“Although our previous online check-in service saved many patients time, it didn’t always work as well as our patients deserved,” said Michael Burcham, vice president of Lake Regional Physician Practices. “We launched the new service on April 9, and patients have been very satisfied with their experiences. They appreciate the chance to book an appointment online and then spend most of their wait time at home, instead of in the clinic.”
Patients can use any Web-enabled device to go to www.lakeregional.com/ExpressCare and book an appointment. Patients also may walk in without a reservation, and they will receive a call back time, giving them the opportunity to leave and come back. It gives patients more control over their experience.
