Lake Regional Health System will host a free health talk on living with rheumatoid arthritis from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 28, in the hospital’s third floor conference rooms. Lunch will be provided.
Topics will include an overview of rheumatoid arthritis, the potential involvement of the lungs and skin, the basics of infusion therapy and the role of physical therapy in treating the disease. Lake Regional Rheumatologist Miriam Borden, M.D., will lead the forum, which also will include a presentation from Lake Regional Pulmonologist Harjyot “Joe” Sohal, M.D., and other experts.
Lake Regional offers a variety of educational programming throughout the year, including health talks on arthritis, diabetes, heart attack and stroke.
