February is American Heart Month, and Lake Regional Health System is hosting two events to raise awareness and encourage action for better heart health: Go Red For Women from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, and Lake Regional’s annual Cardiovascular Screening from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16. Both events will take place in the hospital’s third floor conference rooms.

Go Red For Women

Attendees who wear red will receive a free gift. All participants will receive a voucher for a free lipid profile test at Lake Regional’s annual Cardiovascular Screening on Saturday, Feb. 16. Attendees also will be registered to win a $50 gift card to Woods Supermarket.

Although the session is free, preregistration is required. Visit www.lakeregional.com/GoRed to register, or call 573.348.8222 for more information.
