“We are pleased to have Keil at Lake Regional,” said Michael Burcham, vice president of Lake Regional Physician Practices. “Our Express Care clinics are a great option for people seeking same-day care, especially after hours and on weekends. Keil will be part of the team providing this important care.”
Bluhm joins Lake Regional with 10 years of experience providing walk-in care. His decision to practice medicine came after serving in health care administration with the U.S. Army Medical Department. This service included several overseas tours of duty.
Bluhm said he has found direct patient care to be very rewarding.
“I especially like that I see patients of all ages and treat a wide variety of illnesses,” he said.
Patients do not have to be established with the clinic to visit Express Care. As a result, Bluhm does not have a history with most of his patients, so building trust is a priority.
“I strive to promote a relaxed atmosphere, focused on meeting the patient’s individual needs,” he said.
Bluhm earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Savannah, Georgia. Originally from Virginia, Bluhm and his wife, Kendra, have a 5-year-old daughter, Christi. They have a hobby farm with small animals. His interests include kayaking, beekeeping, hiking, and wilderness medicine, among others.
Lake Regional Express Care has locations in Eldon, Laurie, Lebanon and Osage Beach. Conditions treated include infections, allergies, cuts, sprains and other issues that need medical attention but do not require an emergency response. Patients may walk in or book an appointment online at www.lakeregional.com/expresscare.
