Lake Regional Health System announces that on Monday, Dec. 4, the hospital’s main lobby will reopen following renovations.
Although most of the main lobby renovation work is complete, finishing touches, including new furniture and signage, will continue to be added through early 2018.
“We wanted to reopen the main lobby as soon as possible for the safety and convenience of our patients and visitors,” said Kevin McRoberts, senior vice president of Operations. “Even though work continues, we are excited for our community to see the improvements already made. We are committed to providing exceptional customer experiences and understand that people feel more confident in their care when their surroundings are up-to-date and comfortable.”
The remodeled main lobby is part of the hospital renovation project that began last summer and includes three phases: Phase I includes the renovated main lobby. Phase II, now underway, includes renovations to the Emergency Department lobby. Phase III, also underway, includes a complete remodel of Outpatient Services, as well as construction of a new Women’s and Children’s Unit and Family Birth Center to be located on the hospital’s third floor.
