Lake Regional offers Bridging the Gap, a nurse residency program where you learn from subject matter expects on important topics, such as skin integrity, stroke care, telemetry interpretation, best patient care safety practices and more. Medical Assistant Opportunity
Lake Regional employees can pursue a Certified Medical Assistant Certificate through Lake Regional’s Medical Assistant (MA) program. This is in partnership with Columbia College. The MA program includes four online sessions of coursework, including more than 120 required extern hours. Upon completing the program, participants are prepared to take their certification exam, and once certified, they can work as a Certified Medical Assistant for the Lake Regional clinics.
