Lake Regional Health System will host a free health talk, “Is It Menopause,” at noon Wednesday, May 16. Board-certified OB-GYN Loraine Nolla, M.D., FACOG, will present the health talk on the second floor of Lake Regional Clinic - Eldon.
This health talk will answer common questions women have about menopause: How will it affect me? What can I do about these changes? What should I know about medications? Women also will learn about perimenopause, a time of transition that most women enter in their 30s or 40s, when estrogen levels begin falling.
“Women who come to this health talk will learn about the process of menopause and perimenopause,” Dr. Nolla said. “They will learn how to develop a plan of action to manage the physical and emotional changes.”
A box lunch will be provided. Attendees also will receive a free grocery tote. Bring a friend, and both of you will be entered to win a $25 Woods Supermarket gift card.
The session is free, but preregistration is required. Register here or call 573.348.8222.
