Lake Regional Health System will host a free seminar, “Arthritis: Surgical Treatments and Recovery,” at 9 a.m. Tuesday, October 3rd. Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon Rick Walker, D.O., will present the seminar in the hospital’s third floor conference rooms.
This forum will educate patients on surgical options for relieving arthritis pain in the shoulders, hips and knees. It also will provide information on recovery times following total joint replacement and give an overview of Lake Regional’s Total Joint Camp.
Participants will learn when surgery makes sense and what to expect if they do undergo surgery
