Learn how to respond in a helpful way when a loved one's dementia causes unpredictable behaviors.

Behavior is a powerful form of communication. People with Alzheimer’s and other causes of dementia often lose their language abilities, so they communicate their needs and feelings through behavior. However, some behaviors can present real challenges for caregivers.

Topics include:

  • Decoding behavioral messages
  • Identifying common behavior triggers
  • Strategies to help intervene with some of the most common behavior challenges of Alzheimer's disease

This health talk is free, but registration is required.
