Lake Regional Health System will host a free health talk, “Arthritis: Surgical Treatments and Recovery,” at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 20. Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon Rick Walker, D.O., will present the health talk in the hospital’s third floor conference rooms.
Attendees will learn about surgical options for relieving arthritis pain in the shoulders, hips and knees. They will learn when surgery makes sense and what to expect if they do undergo surgery, including recovery times. They also will receive an overview of Lake Regional’s Total Joint Camp.
