37th Annual Hospital Ball A Success

Lake Regional Hospital Auxiliary hosted the 37th Annual Ball on Saturday, Oct. 5, at The Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark. During the past 36 years, this event has raised nearly $2 million for Lake Regional Health System, with proceeds benefiting the Cancer Center, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, the Emergency Department, Obstetrics, Surgery and more.

Gala participants experienced:
  • a celebration of the Lake of the Ozarks arts community
  • entertainment by "Squad Live,” a touring, eight-piece band
  • cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while enjoying art displays
  • photo booths and candid pictures to preserve memories of the evening
“We are fortunate to serve such a generous community,” says Travis Messer, Annual Ball co-chair and Lake Regional practice administrator. “The Ball is a great way for adults of all ages to enjoy great food and entertainment, while supporting quality health care.”

All proceeds from the 37th Annual Ball will help purchase the latest technology for detecting colon cancer. More than 2,000 Lake Regional patients benefit annually from colonoscopy exams, the most effective way to find and remove precancerous polyps. With help from supporters, the Lake Regional Outpatient Department will purchase four new state-of-the-art colonoscopes, ensuring this important screening exam is conveniently available to lake-area residents.

The 38th Annual Ball is scheduled Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014.
