Each year, hundreds of thousands of people in the United States get influenza and several thousand die from the disease. Vaccination is especially important for those at high risk of serious complications from the flu and their close contacts. This includes older adults, young children; pregnant women; and people with chronic health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes and heart disease. Close contacts include health care providers, parents and caregivers.
Lake Regional makes it easy to protect yourself and your family from the flu with several convenient alternatives to get your flu vaccine.
