Endocrinology

Endocrinologists specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to hormones. Endocrinology covers such functions as the coordination of metabolism, respiration, reproduction, sensory perception, and movement. Endocrine disorders often are complex and involve many parts and processes of the body, particularly the delicate balance of hormones.

Lake Regional's highly-skilled team of specialists offer comprehensive diabetes and endocrinology care.

Lake Regional Endocrinology is located on the second floor of Lake Regional Hospital, 54 Hospital Drive; Osage Beach, Mo. To schedule an appointment, call (573) 302-4406.

Treating diabetes and endocrine disorders can be a complex undertaking because every patient experiences a unique set of symptoms and potential complications. Using an integrative approach, our specialists – including endocrinologists, surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, and specially trained support staff – collaborate and communicate closely with our patients and each other to provide carefully coordinated care.

Our diabetic case management team works with the Anticoagulation Clinic, to provide expert, integrative care for adult patients requiring short-and-long-term anticoagulation medication, to reduce health care expenses and minimize complications, including bleeding, thromboembolic events and hospitalizations.
