Home Health Care

Lake Regional Home Health provides quality care for people of all ages within the comfort and convenience of their own home. The goal of Home Health is to bring skilled health care professionals into the home to teach the patient, family members or other caregivers in the handling of dressings, medications, I.V.s, etc. The plan of care is very individualized.

All home care is considered intermittent care. That means that the patient, a family member or other caregiver must be able to provide necessary care during the hours that a Home Health staff member is not present. Home health care requires a team effort; physicians, nurses, aides, rehab therapists, social workers, dietitians and family members provide patients with an effective treatment plan for a safe, positive recovery.

You qualify for home health services if the following criteria have been met.

  • The care has been ordered by your physician
  • You have a skilled health need resulting from illness or injury that requires the care of a registered nurse or rehabilitation therapist 
  • You can be cared for safely in your home

Lake Regional Home Health is licensed and certified by Medicare/Medicaid to provide intermittent skilled care to homebound patients in Camden, Miller and parts of Morgan counties.
