Areas of Expertise
Disorders of the nose and sinuses such as sinusitis, nose bleeds, stuffy nose, loss of smell, polyps, tumors and deviated septum
Treatment by medication includes allergy shots and sublingual allergy drops (under the tongue), as well as avoidance of environmental factors such as pollen, dust, mold, food, and other sensitivities that affect the ear, nose and throat. Symptoms can include hay fever, seasonal and perennial rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, laryngitis, sore throat and otitis media.
Lake Regional Audiologist Jonathan Wilson, Au.D., CCC-A, evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, and balance disorders in patients of all ages. Dr. Wilson works in close collaboration with Dr. Barns to treat patients whose hearing loss requires medical or surgical treatment. This collaboration allows Lake Regional to provide comprehensive hearing health care in one convenient location at the Lake Regional ENT & Audiology.
