Lake Regional Hospital
Lake Regional Hospital, a 501(c)(3) corporation
, is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a three-time recipient of the Missouri Quality Award. The 500,000 square foot, 116-bed hospital is designated by Medicare as a Regional Referral Center.
Our facility features private patient rooms, a large Outpatient department and a 35-bed Emergency Department
. Our ED is a state-designated Level III Trauma Center that treats more than 36,500 patients annually. The hospital also features an 18-bed Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit and a 22-bed Stepdown Unit for patients progressing in their recovery from the ICU/CCU.
Physicians and Specialties
More than 100 providers care for patients at Lake Regional, including specialists in cardiology, cardio-thoracic/vascular surgery, gastroenterology, medical and radiation oncology, occupational medicine, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pulmonology and rheumatology.
Area Clinics and Services
Completing the health system are seven freestanding primary care clinics, 17 specialty clinics, two urgent care clinics, four satellite physical and cardiac rehab therapy sites, three retail pharmacies and home health services. A freestanding imaging center also was added to the hospital campus in 2006.

Community Health Needs Assessment 2012
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 requires health care organizations to assess the health needs of their communities and adopt implementation strategies to address identified needs. This report is a summary of the data collected during the initial cycle of Lake Regional Health System’s community health needs assessment. Show-Me Better Health
Show-Me Better Health is a series of free workshops to help residents of Camden, Morgan and Miller counties manage ongoing health issues, like diabetes, heart disease and chronic pain. Programs are held twice annually in each county, and each program lasts seven weeks. To learn more, click here.
