Surgical procedures are performed Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the first floor of Lake Regional Hospital. Emergency surgical procedures are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

At Lake Regional, our team approach ensures patient safety and makes customer service the first priority. Patients can expect exceptional surgical nursing care in a growing community hospital still fortunate enough to enjoy a family atmosphere. Our seven operating suites are outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, and our seven-bed recovery room is staffed with experienced recovery R.N.s.

Care is provided by experienced R.N.s and surgical technology staff, with strong support from instrument, environmental and inventory technologists. Anesthesia is administered by board-certified anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists with support staff. Full perfusion services also are available.

In addition, the surgical team supports Lake Regional’s full-service interventional and diagnostic cardiology department, outpatient department and emergency department.

The University of Missouri Staff for Life helicopter is stationed on site for emergent transfers 24 hours a day.
