Dr. Fox joined Lake Regional in 2011.
He treats patients suffering from a variety of lower extremity injuries, including traumatic deformity, limb salvage and major reconstruction, as well as diabetics with compromised circulation.
Dr. Fox is a huge sports fan. Originally is from Sioux City, Iowa, he has been attending Iowa Hawkeye football games with his family, season-ticket holders, since the 1980s. Dr. Fox also played soccer for Drake University where he completed his undergraduate studies. It was his love of football – both kinds – that first sparked his interest in sports medicine and eventually led him to specialize in podiatry.
“Small foot problems can suddenly become very significant when you put a lot of stress on your feet,” Dr. Fox says. “Athletes and even individuals who are just beginning exercise programs can suffer stress fractures and other lower extremity injuries. I enjoy helping people get back in the game.”
In his free time, Dr. Fox enjoys fishing and hunting. He also plans to begin taking flying lessons soon.
