Uninsured Patients

If you are uninsured and need financial assistance, our Patient Financial Services staff will make every effort to work with you to make payment arrangements for your hospital account. A PFS representative will be happy to discuss financial arrangements with you and assist you in applying for Medicaid or other governmental assistance programs, as needed.

If you have been rejected by Medicaid or are otherwise ineligible and are financially unable to pay your hospital bill, you may qualify for assistance under the hospital's uncompensated care program. Patient family income is the primary criteria for determining eligibility following the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' poverty guidelines. If income exceeds the poverty guidelines, you may be eligible to receive a partial write-off.
