Lake Regional Launches Online Portal for Clinic Patients

Patients at Lake Regional Medical Group’s clinics now can access important health information online through a newly launched, secure patient portal.  

“The portal will empower patients to take a proactive role in managing their overall health,” said Peter Rao, executive director of Lake Regional Medical Group. “In addition, the portal will improve patient-clinic communication, as well as quality, safety and efficiency.”  

Using the portal, LRMG patients now may request and keep track of appointments; preregister and/or update demographic information; send messages to the clinic; receive educational information about and treatment options for their medical condition; receive health maintenance reminders; and view and print current and past statements.  

Clinic staff will web-enable patients during the registration process at their appointments. Patients who choose to participate will be asked to provide a personal email address and will be sent a secure user ID and password, enabling them to access the portal from any computer with Internet access.
